How Often Should You Get a Haircut? A Barber's Schedule
The honest answer depends on your cut. Here is the rebooking rhythm that keeps every style looking intentional.
Ask five people how often you should get a haircut and you will get five answers. The truth is simpler: your cut decides the schedule, not the calendar.
Skin fades and short crops — every 2 to 3 weeks
Short styles live and die by the blend. After three weeks the fade line softens and the silhouette loses its shape. If you wear a fade or a buzz cut, a two-to-three-week rhythm keeps it looking deliberate.
Medium and longer styles — every 4 to 6 weeks
Scissor cuts and longer tops are more forgiving. Four to six weeks maintains the shape without over-booking — your barber will tell you when a style genuinely needs a refresh.
Beards — every 2 to 4 weeks
A beard trim and line-up takes minutes and changes your whole face. Pair it with your cut, or drop in between — walk-ins are welcome at all four Ritz locations, seven days a week, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
